Web Software Engineer (Frontend)

Become an integral part of our team in Cairo by taking on roles within our project works and software development.

Your Tasks:

• Independent software development within individual projects
• Integration of this software developments into our COTS

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 3 years experience related to the field of software development
• Professional experience with Web development based on HTML5/CSS/JavaScript (incl. experience with at least some of jQuery, Angular 4, Dojo, Node.js) is PRIOR
• Minimum a college degree in Information Technology (better a university degree)
• Applies state-of-the-art techniques in the domains of object-oriented design & agile development including code quality, documentation, building, version control, modularity, testing
• Proven record of technical understanding
• Arabic native & English excellent written and verbal communication skills are a MUST

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience related to the field
• Minimum a college degree in Information Technology / GIS
• GIS knowledge (prefered ESRI)
• Practical experience in sales

• Practical experience in writing techno-commercial proposals (B2B as well as tenders)

 GIS Project Engineer / Support Web GIS Solution

Become an integral part of our team in Cairo by taking on roles within our project works and technical support. The successful candidate will provide end-customer support and execute project customizations. Further there is also a QA/QC part included for testing new releases of our software products.

Your Tasks:

• Contribution and Support of the team for project related developments / configurations
• First / Second Level Support for our partners / clients
• Software Quality Control / Quality Assurance

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience related to the field
• Minimum a college degree in Information Technology / GIS
• ESRI ArcGIS for Desktop 10 and/or ArcGIS for Server 10 knowledge
• Practical experience with the following Technologies: HTML, XML, JSP, JavaScript, JAVA/J2SE, Windows Server
• Practical experience with Oracle and/or MS SQL Server – database design skills is an advantage
• Arabic native & Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (plus German is an advantage)

Advantage:

• Practical experience in the area of software QA/QC
• Experience with ETL processing of geo- and business data
